Series Mania Institute and EURODOC are partnering to launch a new training program dedicated to the production of documentary series. At a time when documentary series have experienced significant growth since the emergence of platforms and the rise in popularity of short formats, Series Mania Institute and Eurodoc have designed a training course tailored to the specific skills required to produce this type of series. The aim of the program is to consolidate the expertise of producers by providing them with the tools they need to develop and co-produce their projects internationally.

Program outline
Through its workshop, Series Mania Institute and EURODOC help develop and strengthen the skills of documentary professionals who are keen to work internationally on creative and ambitious projects that can co-produce with different countries and work with people from different cultures.
Participants will primarily work on the development of their projects with the tutor in charge of the group: working on the story, narrative, project stakes, structure, budget, and financing strategy in development and production. They will benefit from a master class and a case study (screening followed by a Q&A on the production process), as well as individual meetings with experienced experts.
The workshop will be conducted entirely in French for group work. Individual meetings will take place in French or English.
