This is a project-based program: participants take part in the course with a series project in development (fiction, documentary, animation…) on which they will apply the methods and skills they have learned.

- This is a project-based program. Participants must have a series project in development (fiction, documentary, animation…) on which they will work to apply the methods and skills acquired.

Program outline
A 3-day training course to perfect your pitch and learn how to communicate your project and vision in an impactful way, to structure and adapt your presentation to your audience. An opportunity to hone your skills through practical exercises and simulated presentations to professionals.
Day 1 – Pitch Structure & Audience Insights

Day 2 – Pitch Refinement & Hands-On Exercises
- Explore techniques for fostering connection

Day 3 – Pitching session simulation
- Participate in a pitching simulation in front of a duo of professionals.

the speaker
After gathering experience as a producer at Flach Film, Isabelle Fauvel founded Initiative Film in 1993, the first company entirely dedicated to the creative development process.
Since then, she has been working internationally, the privileged partner of writers, directors and producers for all matters regarding projects and talents development : talent scouting, book scouting, scriptwriting consultancies (on feature films and series), story editing, pitching training and insightful advising during the whole development process.
As such, Isabelle has collaborated with many international festivals (Torino Film Lab, ACE Producers, MFI… ) and is also a speaker for universities and film schools. Isabelle is also involved in building bridges with the publishing world at film adaptation events such as Shoot the Book! and the Polar en Séries Prize at the Quais du Polar festival in Lyon.
tuition fees
1260€ per participant (taxes included)
For French participants, depending on your eligibility, all training programs can be funded in part or in full by AFDAS or other funding organizations.
For other participants, we encourage you to contact local funds or writers/producers guilds to inquire about potential funding.
Series Mania Institute urges all applicants to anticipate further costs that are not included in the tuition fees, such as travel, accommodation and daily expenses.

Following the submission of the registration form, each participant will be contacted by Series Mania Institute within the following 15 days, in order to validate their participation.
