Lille Dialogues is a high-level, international summit organized every year within Series Mania Forum. It brings together European policy makers and key industry leaders to exchange views on the major strategic, economic, and regulatory issues facing our sector.

The new edition will take place on March 21, 2024, around the theme “Gen AI: The technology we’d love to like”.

The rapid development of artificial intelligence and generative technology is having a major impact on the design and production of audiovisual works. This powerful tool is a unique opportunity for creators and professionals, but it is also risky. Numerous panels will be organized around AI and generative technologies that impact the design and production process of audiovisual works. Threats, opportunities, and regulations will be discussed: The impact of AI on the content industry, how AI reshapes the creative industries, how shall we embrace the AI revolution? 

The day will begin with a Welcome Address by Series Mania President Anne Bouverot who was an expert on artificial intelligence long before we all became interested in it, and long before she became President of Series Mania.  She will give us a sharp, deeply interesting, and impassioned look at the crossroads to be imagined for series and AI. 

The Lille Dialogues are, and continue to be, a vital platform to curate insightful discussions, collaborative solutions, and thought-provoking exchange between European lawmakers and key leaders within the audiovisual industry.
