At its last edition, SERIES MANIA FORUM brought together 3,800 professionals from over 66 countries. Every year in March, decision-makers, producers, commissioners, buyers, authors, policymakers, and politicians come together in Lille for three days of networking, discovery, and insights.
SERIES MANIA FORUM has become a must attend event to fully support drama series, from writing to broadcasting, and in particular its best-and-coming writers. Many intensive writing workshops, as well as programmes aiming at breaking the silos of series production and encouraging international collaboration are undertaken throughout the year before being presented to professionals during the Forum.
In addition to the writer’s pitches, the highly anticipated ‘Co-pro Pitching Sessions’ highlight 15 series seeking international funding. The winner receives a grand prize of €50,000 to help develop the series. The event also features showcases of series from all over the world, round table discussions and impactful masterclasses.
An integral part of the SERIES MANIA FORUM is the ‘Lille Dialogues’, a special day of conferences, curated by Series Mania, where top-level TV industry leaders from studios, channels, and platforms, along with European Ministers of Culture and European Commissioners, share their views on subjects that structure the global audiovisual industry and work to promote international cooperation.
SERIES MANIA is where series begin!
