Talemwa PIUS

Talemwa is a Screenwriter and Film Director from Uganda. A graduate of the Multichoice Talent Factory Academy in Nairobi and the New York Film Academy’s Short Form Storytelling Workshops, He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Fine Arts from Makerere University Kampala (MUK) and has been honored for Proficiency in Film by Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya. He is part of the AuthenticA Series Lab with the Realness Institute, a prestigious program dedicated to developing original African TV series. In his work, he explores different film genres to break and challenge African stereotypes.
