Mariela BESUIEVSKY

Born in Uruguay. She graduated from the EMAD, (“Municipal School of Dramatic Art”) and studied film at the EICTV (San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba). Her first film as a producer was Pablo Dotta’s debut film “El Dirigible”, the first Uruguayan film that participated in the International Cannes Film Festival in the critics week of 1994. In 2011 he received the Eurimages prize for co-production from the European Film Academy. Producer and Executive Producer of more than 155 films, including “The Secret in Their Eyes” (Oscar for Best Foreign Film) or “Last Circus” (Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival). She has produced the series “Four Seasons in Havana” winner of the Platinum Award for Best Ibero – American Series and “Ana Tramel All in” (Monte Carlo Television Festival).
