Bruno PATINO

Bruno Patino has been President of Arte G.E.I.E. since January 2021 and of Arte France since June 2020. He was previously, since 2015, it’s editorial director. He has spent his entire career in journalism and media, at Le Monde group between 1999 and 2008, (managing in particular Le Monde Interactif and Télérama), then at Radio France as director of France Culture from 2008 to 2010. Between 2010 and 2015 he was director general in charge of programmes and digital development at France Télévisions. He is the author of books on the digital transformation of the media: Une Presse sans Gutenberg (Grasset 2004); La Condition Numérique (Grasset 2012); Télévisions (Grasset 2015); La Civilisation du Poisson Rouge (Grasset 2019) and Tempête dans le bocal (Grasset 2022). He directed the School of Journalism at Sciences Po from 2007 to 2020 and has remained an Associate Professor since then. He is president of the Scène Nationale des Gémeaux theatre.
