Arne KOHLWEYER

Arne Kohlweyer is a freelance (screen-)writer. His most recent work MOTHER’S BABY (co-written with the film’s director Johanna Moder) premiered in Competition of the 75th Berlinale 2025. Arne is an alumnus of the Torino Film Lab, as well as the MIDPOINT Series Launch program. From 2011 to 2018, Arne was in charge of the Berlinale Talents Script Station. From 2014 to 2018, he also served as Head of Development at 42film. He was working as staff-writer on BALATON BRIGADE (in financing) and head-writer of the Swiss-Albanian Sitcom TE BERBERI (SRF). He is a member of the European Film Academy.
