Dolce Amelia

Amelia was born on a sack of cocoa beans. This is perhaps why she has an exceptionally strong sense of taste and smell. Her path as a factory worker is pre-programmed, but Amelia's dream is to become a chocolatier. A mini-series over five decades between 1908 and 1955: from the girl who sneaks into the factory and finds her mentor, to the teenager who falls in love with the factory owner’s son, to the woman who is constantly caught between the social constraints of her time and her incredible talent making the best chocolate in the world.
