François Berthille, the director of the Tout-Paris, a famous cabaret as renowned for its wild Parisian nights as the Moulin Rouge or the Paradis Latin, is about to sell his theater house to the Carrefour group and turn the gorgeous and historic cabaret into an ordinary neighborhood supermarket… All so he can go live in the countryside with his wife Prune and finally change his life around.
But François is struggling to make a decision. The cabaret is truly part of his family heritage. What would his legendary father Dary, a leading revue star who directed the establishment for years, think of his son if he knew the cabaret’s prestigious stage would soon be converted into vegetable shelves?
His heart is set. François will keep the cabaret.
But a cabaret is also and above all a troupe. Whether backstage, on stage or in the audience, from the can-can dancer to the costume designer, the waiter to the animal caretaker, the checkroom attendant to the stage manager, this big-hearted family will help François recapture its former success! We will closely follow the stories of three dancers: Justine, torn between her role as a mother and her job as a dancer, Teresa, whose incredible freedom hangs precariously on a family secret, and Coralie, set to live her very first love story with Jordan, a young and enigmatic waiter who just joined the team.
Despite conflicts, difficulties and sorrows…, they all know what their job requires: from 7pm onwards, as soon as the first spectator sits at their table, it’s nothing but smiles and festivities!
