A major new feature this year: the development of the workshop into a full, more ambitious programme, with the addition of online follow-up and a second workshop at Dakar Séries, pan-African series festival, for now 5 writer-producer duos from African, Caribbean and Pacific countries.

Five projects submitted by duos (made of a scriptwriter and a producer) will be selected to take part in a week of intensive workshops in Lille, from March 14 to 21, 2024, as part of Series Mania Forum and Series Mania Festival.

Accompanied by professional mentors, the teams will have the opportunity to attend conferences on the series industry, showcases, screenings, pitching sessions and meet the professionals accredited to Series Mania Forum.

From May 5 to 12, 2024, the project leaders selected will take part in a second training workshop in Dakar. They will then have the chance to take part in the Dakar Series festival, pan-African series festival, where they will pitch their project to the professionals present and meet them afterwards.
