Producing a documentary series

Series Mania Institute and EURODOC are partnering to launch a new training program dedicated to the production of documentary series.

Objectives :

To consolidate the expertise of producers by providing them with the tools they need to develop and co-produce their projects internationally.

Methods :

Participants will primarily work on the development of their projects with the tutor in charge of the group, working on :

• The story and narrative,
• Project stakes,
• Structure, budget, and financing strategy in development and production.

They will also benefit from :

• A master class,
• A case study (screening followed by a Q&A on the production process),
• Individual meetings with experienced experts.

Requirements :

• To be a producer with a documentary series project.
• Projects can be at different stages (writing, development, or pre-production).
• The workshop is primarily conducted in French and is reserved for Francophone professionals.
