Eureka Series is a 6-week immersive training program designed to prepare emerging European screenwriters to join professional writers’ rooms and master the unique demands of serial storytelling.
Combining a month-long intensive training phase followed by an immersive industry experience during Series Mania, it places collaboration and hands-on learning at its core.
During the first month, the program focuses on the creative and strategic aspects of series development within a collaborative environment. Through a combination theoretical input and practical exercises in small and various writers’ rooms, participants improve their ability to collaborate, navigate creative discussions, and construct engaging narratives as a team – all under the guidance of experienced industry professionals.
This intensive phase is followed by two weeks of professional immersion: participation in the Creative Bazaar, a unique creative hub, and access to the Series Mania Festival and Forum.
The program fosters a truly European perspective on serial storytelling, encouraging creative exchange across cultures, languages, and markets.
🔹 PART 1 – FEBRUARY 16th TO MARCH 12th, 2027
Following an introduction to serial dramaturgy, participants will engage in lectures led by industry professionals covering the key aspects of serial development. Using a “learning by doing” approach, in multiple guided exercises where they rotate through small-group writers’ rooms, experimenting with different roles and collaboration styles, as well as applying tools and tips onto different genres at various development stages.

During this phase, lectures and workshops take place from Tuesday to Friday. Mondays are kept free to allow participants time to manage their ongoing professional commitments.
🔹 PART 2 – MARCH 16th TO 26th, 2027
