Angeli Macfarlane

Angeli is a story editor and writer. She provides script editing and mentoring for many key organisations including: British Film Institute, Screen Ireland, Vic Screen Australia, IMDA Singpore & Cine Qua Non in Mexico.

Angeli has executive produced many first features, including six films for Film London and BBC Film. She recently developed Surviving Earth by Thea Gajic, Leviticus by Adrian Chiarella and Marama by Taratoa Stappard.

Angeli co-wrote Lola directed by Andrew Legge, which premiered at Locarno Film Festival and received best screenplay nomination at the IFTAs in 2024. She is writing a feature for Sleeper Films (The Favourite), and adapting best-seller Small Pleasures for TV.
