Stéphanie Girerd
Screenwriter and Director – Tremplin
Graduated from Sciences Po and later in Film Studies, Stéphanie Girerd began participating in film shoots early on alongside her studies (“Rei Dom” by JC Gallotta) and directed her first short film in Montreal.
She initially worked as an assistant director or assistant production manager on music videos (Michel Gondry), TV movies (Robin Davis, Marion Sarrault), short films (Siegrid Alnoy), and feature films (Christophe Blanc, Valérie Lemercier, Sandrine Ray), while continuing to direct several short films of her own.
In 2002, production of her first feature film was abruptly halted due to the loss of a financial partner. It took nearly 10 years of perseverance for a new project to take shape, resulting in L’Aventure Africaine, a feature film awarded the CNC “Advance on Receipts”, which was shot in Senegal.
Beyond her personal projects, she has built a career as an audiovisual director, television screenwriter, artistic producer, and acting coach.
