End of summer 1996 in Orbaritz, a small village in the Navarran Pyrenees. Four 12-year-olds – Gorka, Ander, Marcos and Irache – are experiencing the tail end of summer. the gang decides to have one last adventure, which takes them inside an old abandoned mine in search of silver nuggets. Lost in its confusion of galleries, they search desperately for the way out, but what they find is a hideout in which a businessman kidnapped by ETA is being held prisoner. This discovery puts the life of a man in the hands of frightened children who are forced to take a decision whose consequences they cannot determine.
