CREEP

« Creep » is a six-episode miniseries that delves into the real-life story of the Lisbon Ripper, a serial killer who terrorized Portugal in the early 1990s by murdering several prostitutes. The show follows the journey of Ana, a young police inspector trying to make a name for herself, while her younger sister Rita battles with mental health issues and drug abuse. As Ana is called to investigate the murder and evisceration of a prostitute, she still does not realize that she is dealing with a serial killer. However, as more victims appear, this comes to be a certainty and Ana becomes increasingly determined to find the perpetrator and bring him to justice. Ana is all too aware of the vulnerability of these women and the violence that women face from men, whether it be physical or psychological. She sees the victims as a reflection of herself and all women who are vulnerable to male violence.
