Come and meet talents and industry professionals from Africa. This breakfast is an invite-only event taking place in the Salon Rouge, 1st Floor of the Forum, from 9am to 11am on the 19th of March. Mehret Mandefro and a representative of Création Africa will be speaking for opening remarks.
This event is presented by :
Creation Africa, launched in 2023 by the French Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, aims to highlight African creativity and is designed as a platform for meetings, exchanges of expertise and showcasing talent. Implemented by the Institut français at Series Mania, Creation Africa has a pavilion in the forum for the first time at Series Mania, reuniting over 40 professionals from 9 countries of the continent.

AuthenticA Series Lab – the residency program by the Realness Institute and the StoryBoard Collective, supported by the support of The Embassy of France to South Africa and The French Institute of South Africa, in collaboration with Series Mania Forum. AuthenticA Series Lab writers will be pitching on the same day, the 19th of March, in the afternoon at 4:15pm.
