James CALLOW

James Callow worked in UK film and TV for 15 years as a writer and development executive on projects with the BFI, BBC, UKFC, European Script Fund, Zentropa and Road Movies. He was runner up in the BBC Dennis Potter Screenwriting Award. He taught in academia in Taiwan for 10 years and wrote a short film Arterial, selected for BiFan in 2017. A feature version was selected for Produire au Sud Taipei and Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Project Promotion. He’s currently writing screenplays for Tearaway Films (UK) and Blue Dolphin (Italy). He recently completed his first novel through the Curtis Brown Creative Writing Programme.
