Heaven’s Gate

When Saskia (34) inherits Hemelrijk, an old plantation on Java, Indonesia, she travels there to sell it, with her teenage daughter Alex in tow. There, Saskia feels an unexpected pull from the past. She begins experiencing visions of Anisa, a Javanese woman in 1942, entangled in a volatile love triangle with the plantation owner and his wife. As reality starts to blur, Saskia slips deeper into a tragic family history, while Alex fights to keep her mother grounded in reality before the past consumes her completely.
