Thanks to a revolutionary scientific breakthrough, the dead can now communicate with the living via a terminal: the ETHERNA. Police officer David Novack, haunted by the death of his wife, works in a new squad tasked with finding the transitional objects needed to establish communication and taking post-mortem statements from victims. A routine investigation will shatter his beliefs, but also potentially lead him to closure.
