SERIES MANIA initiAtivE DeDICATED TO BUYERS
For the third time, this event will offer an exclusive look at highly anticipated series in the heart of Lille’s historic city center and the Series Mania headquarters at the Chamber of Commerce (CCI), on Monday, March 22, 2027.
Applications open on Wednesday, December 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM (CET).
ABOUT
The Series Mania Buyers Upfront is an invitation-only event for buyers, showcasing exclusive excerpts from up to 12 eagerly awaited series that have strong global appeal. Curated by the Festival’s artistic team, the selection will include high-potential series about to be released or still in post-production and will be based on both artistic merit and broad audience appeal.
The event is structured as follows:
- A selection of first look series: up to 10 exclusive series curated for buyers by Series Mania
- 15-minute presentation per series: each series is given a presention slot (an introduction, a 10-minute reel, and even an optional but highly recommended 2-minute trailer) to present exclusive content
- A full Festival experience: red carpet & gala screening in the evening
- Networking with peers: after screening cocktail
- A prize: the Buyers Choice Award is presented to the series with the strongest international potential
- Meetings the distributors: leverage your presence at Series Mania Forum and meet with the distributors behind the series
