RAVALEAR: Not for sale

Can Mosques, a hundred-year-old family-run restaurant in Barcelona’s Raval district, adored and respected by everyone, is faced with eviction after falling into the hands of an investment fund whose aim is to empty the building and accelerate the transformation of the neighborhood. Convinced that defeat is inevitable, the news plunges the family into despair. But when they decide to stand up for themselves, with the help of their neighbors, the fight quickly spirals out of control, becoming increasingly dangerous. In order to save Can Mosques, they will have to cross lines they never thought themselves capable of and discover just how far they’re prepared to go to stop themselves from disappearing.

They want the family out of the building as part of their plan to buy property in the center of Barcelona.
