“Low Spirits” is a scripted mystery / fantasy/ horror / comedy series. Felix Low is a somewhat hapless private investigator with a drug and alcohol problem. But Low’s isn’t entirely a conventional problem with addiction. Felix Low is the great grandson of the famous British Paranormal Investigator Flaxman Low. Felix Low claims that when he’s drunk or high he becomes acutely attuned to paranormal phenomena (ghosts, demons, U.F.O.s, and monsters). Felix Low’s agent, Ken, (the man who finds cases for Low to solve) firmly believes that the reason Low abuses so many substances is because the cases he takes on, those involving the paranormal, genuinely scare him. Low’s interest in the supernatural stems from the mysterious death of his wife, Ivy. Ivy’s death seems to have a supernatural cause. Low blames himself for his wife’s death and vows to find out what really happened to her.
