CO-PRO PITCHING SESSIONS – BEST PROJECT

The 15 series projects in development presented at Series Mania Forum’s Co-Pro Pitching Sessions are evaluated by a jury of industry professionals. The winning project receives a prize of € 50,000.

In 2024, the project Our people (Slovakia) was chosen by the jury presided by Nina Lederman (USA), EVP, Global Scripted Development and Programming, Sony Pictures Television.

Series mania BEST MARKETING INITIATIVE award

Series exist, but they must be seen!

Regardless of a series quality, one of the biggest challenges any series faces is standing out in an overcrowded market. 

Launched in 2023, the SERIES MANIA BEST MARKETING INITIATIVE AWARD is a prize designed to reward a particularly creative way of promoting a series to the general public and the professionals from the industry.

This first award was given to Phil Ball, Head of Creative, and Sarah Bold, Head of Brand and Marketing, Scripted, for “Doctor Who: Flux” (BBC Studios).

In 2024, the prize was given to Sarah Izbornicki, Senior Marketing Manager & Joo-Hyung Lee, Senior Marketing Manager for “Sex Education: Season 4” (Netflix).

In 2025, Marina Maslać, Brand and Content Marketing Director EMEA, Streaming, won the Best Marketing Initiative Award, for “House of the Dragon: Season 2” (HBO and Max).

Created in 2021, the Woman in series Award is given to a remarkable woman from the audiovisual industry to honor her vision and leadership. 

After Christina Sulebakk in 2021 (GM Nordics, Warner Bros. Discovery, Danemark), Mo Abudu in 2022 (CEO EbonyLife Group, Nigeria), Nicola Shindler (Executive Producer and Chief Executive of Quay Street Productions) in 2023, Francesca Orsi (EVP, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films) in 2024, the recipient of the 2025 award is Isabelle Degeorges (President of Gaumont Television France).
