Series mania forum announces two new keynotes with angela Jain of disney + emea and Monty sarhan of skyshowtime
Both keynotes set for March 25 in Lille during Series Mania Forum
LILLE & PARIS, FRANCE – February 9, 2026 – Having previously announced its first keynote with Jennifer Mullin, Group CEO, and Andrea Scrosati, Group COO and CEO Continental Europe at Fremantle, Laurence Herszberg, founder and general director of Series Mania, today announced two new keynotes confirmed for this year’s Series Mania Forum (March 24–26).The first, set for Wednesday March 25 at 12:30pm, is Angela Jain, Head of Content, Disney+, The Walt Disney Company Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The second, to be held on March 25 at 14.00pm, is Monty Sarhan, CEO of SkyShowtime.
“Angela and Monty are two of the most well-respected leaders shaping the future of international television today. We could not be more pleased to welcome them to Lille where they will outline and highlight their plans for Disney+ and SkyShowtime, respectively, and share with us their unique insights on the international landscape and what is ahead for 2026 on a global scale,” commented Herszberg.
Series Mania Forum will mark Jain’s first industry appearance since joining Disney. During this session she will outline the EMEA originals strategy for Disney+, highlighting the importance of international markets and continued investment in ambitious, distinctive local storytelling that complements the global slate. Jain’s remit spans commissioning, production management, business affairs and branded acquisitions across the region. Last year, Disney+ announced plans to significantly increase its local originals output over the next four years, further strengthening the breadth and quality of its content offering as a core strategic pillar for the platform.
SkyShowtime CEO Monty Sarhan will also take to the stage at Series Mania for the first time, as the European streamer celebrates its third year of bringing global Hollywood hits and acclaimed local originals to over 20 countries across Europe. During this session Sarhan will share insights on the journey and success of the Comcast and Paramount-backed joint venture, including the challenges and opportunities for a new streamer in a competitive and ever-changing landscape.

Angela Jain is Head of Content, Disney+, The Walt Disney Company Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). She was appointed Head of Content, Disney+ EMEA in 2025. In this role, she is responsible for leading Disney’s EMEA content strategy for original productions on Disney+, including commissioning, production management, business affairs, and Disney+ originals’ branded acquisitions. Prior to this role, Angela held several roles at ITV, as controller of Digital Channels and Acquisitions where she commissioned Love Island and Plebs, Managing Director of Lifted Entertainment, and most recently at ITV Studios as Director of Unscripted UK, where she oversaw 11 UK labels. Angela started her career in independent television production where she worked as a producer and director in all genres. Directly before she joined ITV, Angela was Controller of E4 where she commissioned The Inbetweeners and Misfits.
