exhibition: BEHIND THE SCENES
The unsung heroes who bring TV series to life
Without them, Hannibal’s cult dishes, Game of Thrones’ strange Dothraki language and Hippocrates’ realistic wounds wouldn’t exist. They are food stylists, language designers, dental technicians and professional criers, working tirelessly on our favorite series. The exhibition pays tribute to these behind-the-scenes heroes through a unique immersive journey.
To take things a step further, three key talents behind the scenes in the series industry will be presenting their work on the Village Festival by Crédit Mutuel stage:
- Meet food stylist Janice Poon (Hannibal, Star Trek: Discovery), who specializes in creating edible legs and space whale steak.
- Meet David and Jessie Peterson, language designers (Game of Thrones, Defiance, Motherland: Fort Salem, Dune), to learn how to say “Hello” in High Valyrian.
- Meet costume designer Valérie Adda (Le Bazar de la Charité, Les Combattantes), the woman who dresses French heroines.
