Suzy BEMBA

Suzy Bemba made a name for herself as Bintou in the 2020 horror film Kandisha, directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, as well as her role of Flora, a ballerina, alongside Ariane Labed in the series L’Opéra (2021). She also played the leading role in the film Homecoming by Catherine Corsini, selected to compete at Cannes in 2023. She also plays the role of Toinette in Poor Things (2023) by Yorgos Lanthimos. The film won the prestigious Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. She has also worked with the Singaporean film director Anthony Chen on the film Drift (2023) alongside Cynthia Erivo, which premiered at the Sundance film festival. She also appears in the series Everything Is Well (2023), available on Disney+, together with Virginie Efira. In 2023, Suzy was chosen by the Académie des César’s Revelations Committee to be one of the 32 Revelations for 2024. This year, she is representing France at Shooting Stars 2024 in Berlin.
