Shira Haas

Shira Haas is an Israeli actress. She won the Independent Spirit Award and was nominated for Golden Globe and Emmy awards for her performance in Netflix’s Unorthodox. Haas starred in Asia, an Israeli feature for which she won an Ophir (Israeli Academy Award) and Tribeca Film Festival awards.   On television, she starred in the Netflix hit Shtisel and the Israeli series Harmon and The Conductor. On film, Haas co-starred with Jessica Chastain The Zookeeper’s Wife and appeared in Natalie Portman’s A Tale of Love and Darkness.  She debuted Princess, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film festival and garnered her an Ophir nomination. She later received nominations for Broken Mirrors and the Oscar-nominated Foxtrot and won for Noble Savage.
