Patrick Heidmann

Born in Hamburg and raised in southern Germany, Patrick Heidmann is a film journalist and critic now based in Berlin. He has been writing about films and TV series for more than 20 years. His work as a freelance journalist and critic has been published in German-language outlets such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, Zeit Online, taz, Berliner Zeitung, Rolling Stone, GQ, InStyle, Queer.de, Luxemburger Wort, and MAX. Heidmann is also a regular at festivals, from Cannes, Toronto to Locarno and Berlin. He has interviewed many acclaimed figures of film and television, such as showrunner Armando Iannucci and actress Julianna Margulies.
