Marti Noxon is an American writer, director and producer.
She began her career as a writer for popular TV series such as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel”. She soon became a frequent collaborator with creator Joss Whedon, bringing her creative flair to the fantastic universe of these series.
Noxon went on to write and produce critically acclaimed TV series such as “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Mad Men” and “UnREAL”. She was also showrunner of the 2018 series “Dietland”.
In addition to her work in television, Marti Noxon also made her directorial debut with the film “To the Bone” (2017), which tackles the theme of eating disorders. This semi-autobiographical film was praised for its sensitivity and realistic approach to the delicate subject.
Noxon is known for her commitment to tackling complex and often taboo subjects through her projects. Her stories explore human relationships, mental health problems and societal issues, while showcasing strong female characters.
