Marc Dugain was born in the late 1950s in Senegal. After working in politics and finance in Grenoble and a career as an entrepreneur in the aeronautics industry, he began writing in 1998, recounting the fate of his maternal grandfather, a “broken face” of the First World War, in La Chambre des officiers. He has adapted some of his novels for film and television, such as Une Exécution Ordinaire (2010) with Marina Hands and La Malédiction d’Edgar (2013) with Brian Cox. He was script doctor on the Swiss series Quartier des Banques (2017) and wrote the spy series Clause 47 for the Korean Kim Jee-Won. As a producer, with his company High Sea Production, he is currently developing 2 series.
