Kaleem Aftab

Kaleem Aftab is a film writer, producer and programmer based in London, England, specializing in Arab, European and American indie cinema since 1999. His work has appeared in The i, Sight and Sound, The Guardian, The Times, The National and The New York Times. He is also the UK Correspondent for Cineuropa and a member of the London Film Critics Club. As a programmer, he is Director of International Programming for the Red Sea International Film Festival and works for Tromsø International Film Festival. In addition, Aftab has produced award-winning short and feature films. He wrote an acclaimed biography titled ‘That’s My Story and I’m Sticking to It’, on the acclaimed filmmaker Spike Lee.
