Hervé Le Tellier is the author of several renowned books including Le Voleur de nostalgie, Enough About Love, and All Happy Families: A Memoir. In 2013, he won the Grand Prize for Dark Humor for his Contes liquides and in 2020 the Prix Goncourt for his novel The Anomaly. Co-opted in 1992 to the Oulipo (“ouvroir de littérature potentielle” or “workshop of potential literature”, of which Queneau, Perec, Duchamp, Calvino and others were or are members), he has been its president since 2019. He also writes comedies for the theater such as A Thousand Pearls (for a Thousand Pennies) or “onstage solos” such as Moi et François Mitterrand and Mon dîner avec Winston. Several of his books are currently being adapted into films or series, including The Anomaly, directed by Antonin Baudry.
