Cécile DE FRANCE

Winner of two César Awards and nominated five times for Best Actress at the César Awards, Cécile de France worked under the direction of international filmmakers including Clint Eastwood, the Dardenne brothers, Catherine Corsini, Xavier Gianolli and Wes Anderson. In the world of series, Cécile de France played the head of marketing of the papal city in the HBO series The Young Pope and The New Pope by Paolo Sorrentino alongside Jude Law and John Malkovich. She also played herself in the hit series Call My Agent!, and just starred in Héloïse Pelloquet’s first feature film, La Passagère.

Jury member for the international competition at the 2022 Festival, she will soon be starring in several projects: The Swarm, an environmental thriller directed by Barbara Eder, Luke Watson and Philipp Stölzl; the Greek Salad series by  Cédric Klapisch, as well as Bonnard, Pierre et Marthe, the next feature film by Martin Provost.
