Casey BARON

Casey Baron has been a programmer for the Tribeca Independent Film Festival in New York since 2022. Starting as an intern, he rose through the ranks to become Shorts Programmer and then Director of Programming for the Austin Film Festival. Baron also supports a number of independent video-game projects. Combining his many passions, he launched a video-game-writing program and is the founder of the Austin Film Festival’s Uplifting Storytellers Initiative, which encourages and connects talented new voices from diverse and under-represented backgrounds.
