Young psychotherapist Sadia Durandt works in a skyscraper with a panoramic view over a mysterious metropolis. To emancipate herself from her stepfather’s career and secretly confront an unresolved family trauma, she sets a new focus for her practice: she will treat people who can fly. Literally.
For his first series, the multidisciplinary artist Pedro Harres draws inspiration from magical realism and mixes claustrophobia with the supernatural. By juxtaposing the interior of a psychology practice and hypnotic urban landscapes, and by switching tones astonishingly, Wingspan provides a unique experience and a poetic story of deliverance.
