Our take
Erwan Le Duc once again shows his sense for the absurd and tragi-comedy, this time with the adaptation of the novel of the same name by Fabrice Humbert. Niels Schneider, surrounded by intriguing and complex characters, undertakes a surreal investigation against a backdrop of the strangely familiar northern slagheaps.
