In Scandinavia, an epidemic wipes out almost the entire population. Six years later, a brother and sister join a troupe of young survivors who set out to discover whether new societies have been organized elsewhere. Left to their own devices in a world of infinite freedom, these survivors are also caught up in their own young adult states of mind.
