American actress, screenwriter, director and producer Pamela Adlon has starred in a host of films and series, including Californication and Louie. She also lends her voice to the iconic characters of Bobby Hill in King of the Hill and Mrs Wolowitz in The Big Bang Theory. In 2016, she created, directed and starred in her very personal series Better Things, which ran for five seasons on FX (and Canal+ in France). In it, she creates an unforgettable, almost autobiographical character, with humor and emotion, of a divorced mother looking after her three daughters and her invasive mother suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, trying to manage her love life and her acting career despite everything, watching Mikey Madison (Anora) growing up on screen in the role of her eldest daughter.
The President of the Jury of the International Competition at Series Mania will talk about her career in this interview illustrated with emblematic clips from her series.
The meeting will be moderated by journalist Pierre Langlais (Telerama).
