Dans l’Ombre

Paul Francoeur has just won the primaries of his party and is launching a presidential campaign that promises to be tumultuous. César Casalonga, his chief advisor, must dodge attacks from other candidates and quell the resentments within his own political faction. When a rumor of fraud in the primaries threatens to weaken his boss’s candidacy, César realizes that he will have to lead the most challenging battle of his life.

An adaptation by Pierre Schoeller of the novel of the same name by Edouard Philippe and Gilles Boyer, In the Shadows takes us into the gripping backstage world of a political election.
