An exceptional meeting with Carole Bouquet to look back on his career!
After her studies, she joined the Conservatoire Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris, where she was spotted by Luis Buñuel, who cast her in That Obscure Object of Desire (1977). In 1989, she won the César for Best Actress for her role in Too Beautiful for You by Bertrand Blier (1989). A versatile actress, she has starred in many films of all genres, including Summer Things by Michel Blanc (2002), Red Lights by Cédric Kahn (2004) and Behind the Walls by Christian Faure (2008). In 2019, her performance contributed to the success of On a Magical Night by Christophe Honoré.
Carole Bouquet continues to win over TV audiences. In 2016, she starred in the series Spin by Frédéric Garson, and in 2017, La Mante by Nicolas Jean, Grégoire Demaison, and Alice Chegaray-Breugnot, in which she plays the serial killer Jeanne Deber. Internationally, she featured in Rosemary’s Baby, the series by Scott Abbot and James Wong (2014). Soon, she will be starring in an adaptation of the Spanish series Gran Hotel on TF1 and playing a therapist in In Therapy, which will screen on ARTE.
