Risako Yamasaki leads a peaceful life with her husband and 3-year-old daughter Ayaka. One day, she receives a notice from the courthouse to be a prospective juror in a shocking criminal case. Mizuho Ando, a stay-at-home mom, is being tried for drowning her 8-month-old baby girl. At first, Risako is disgusted by the woman who murdered her own child, but as the trial progresses, she starts seeing her own past in Mizuho’s story. Gradually, Risako becomes muddled in a chaos of emotions awakened inside her.
