Lille Dialogues is a high-level, international summit organized every year within Series Mania Forum. It brings together European policy makers and key industry leaders to exchange views on the major strategic, economic, and regulatory issues facing our sector.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PREVIOUS EDITION

The new edition took place on March 27th, 2025, around the theme “POST PEAK TV: CHALLENGING TIMES AHEAD: AI, Funding, Audience”.

After a period of euphoria, the audiovisual industry found itself facing three major challenges from our perspective. First, a funding crisis marked by an intense battle to capture advertising budgets. Second, a sociological challenge linked to this advertising crisis, as younger generations consumed massive amounts of content from digital creators, while living in a world dominated by algorithms and growing skepticism. Finally, an industrial revolution driven by the undeniable impact of artificial intelligence, promising to deeply transform businesses in their search for greater productivity.

How could these challenges be overcome? At what cost? Was pragmatism at risk of undermining creativity? What future lay ahead for the European cultural industry?

The Lille Dialogues confirmed their role as a vital platform to foster insightful discussions, collaborative solutions, and thought-provoking exchanges between European lawmakers and key leaders within the audiovisual industry.
