Sophie ARTUS

Sophie Artus is director and screenwriter in Cinema. She earned an MFA in Film Studies from Tel Aviv University and directed several award-winning short films that gained international recognition.
Her debut feature film, Valley, a poignant portrayal of troubled teenagers, won the Best Feature Debut Award at the Haifa International Film Festival, the Best Film Award at Cinema Jove Valencia and several other accolades.
Her second feature, Halisa, won five Israeli Academy Award Nominations, including Best Film, and received the Jury Prize at the Haifa International Film Festival (2025).
