Marie Roussin is a French screenwriter and showrunner. She recently created and was the showruner for Mixte (Voltaire High), Prime Video’s first french original which was released worldwide in september 2021 and received critical and public acclaim. A UCLA alumni, Marie first worked as a staff writer on several successful french shows such as Fais pas ci, fais pas ça (France 2), Les Bleus (cop comedy, M6) and Odysseus (Arte) and seasons 5 to 7 of the critically-acclaimed show Un village français (France 3). Later, she worked in the US alongside Tom Fontana for Borgia’s third season (Canal+). In 2015 she became the headwriter for the adaptation and writing of Polseres Vermelles (Les Bracelets Rouges) which turned to be a major hit for France’s n°1 broadcaster TF1. Alongside her activities, Marie Roussin is also the president of the french Writer’s Guild since (2020).
