Jan MOJTO

Jan Mojto, born in 1948, is an international film producer and distributor. The core of his corporate group is Beta Film, which produces, finances and distributes high-end entertainment content for the global market. Beta Film partners with and holds stakes in several European production companies. The classical music label Unitel produces audiovisual recordings of high-level concerts, operas and ballets throughout Europe. Born in Slovakia, Mojto left for the West in the 70s and started his career at the KirchGroup. He was honoured with the Médaille Charlemagne pour des Médias Européens, as Chevalier dans l’Ordre de la Légion d’Honneur, as Officier de l’Ordre National des Arts et des Lettres as well as with the Bavarian Order of Merit among others and won numerous national and international film-, TV and classical music awards.
