The Tale of Lady Ok

Goo-Deoki is born into the lowest class but is clever and resourceful, secretly saving money to escape her cruel mistress,  So-Hye. Her fate changes when she crosses paths with nobleman Seo-In, who falls for her and breaks off his arranged marriage with  So-Hye, inciting her wrath. Forced to flee, Goo-Deoki takes refuge at a remote inn, where a twist of fate grants her the identity of noblewoman Ok Tae-Young. As the fake Tae-Young, she becomes a legal advocate, fighting for justice while navigating a marriage to Yun-Gyeom, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Seo-In. Meanwhile, Seo-In - now the famed but lowly storyteller by the name Seung-Hwi - comes to Goo-Deoki ’s rescue whenever she needs a hand, a friend or even a husband.
