A young gamer (played by Shawn Thia) travels to Japan to search for his online girlfriend only to discover that she has mysteriously vanished. In his quest to find her in Tokyo, he aligns with new-found Japanese gamer friend (played by Anna Yamada) and the two become embroiled in Tokyo’s web of scams, trafficking and illegal workers.
