SERIES MANIA FORUM honors Isabelle Degeorges, President of Gaumon Television, with fifth annual “Woman in Series Award”.

Having launched as a new initiative in 2021, coupled with tomorrow being International Women’s Day, Laurence Herszberg, Founder and General Director of Series Mania, and Francesco Capurro, Director of Series Mania Forum, today announced Isabelle Degeorges, President, Gaumont Television, as the recipient for its Fifth Annual “Woman in Series Award.” Last year’s award went to Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films.

This award is given to a remarkable woman from the audiovisual industry to honor her vision and leadership. Isabelle Degeorges will be presented with her award on the evening of March 25th during the Series Mania Awards Ceremony at the Théâtre Barrière. In addition, she will also take part in an exclusive “In Conversation With” set on the 26th afternoon, to be moderated by Marta Balaga of Variety.

“Isabelle’s remarkable career, which has led her to the Presidency of Gaumont Télévision, has helped to promote French original series and IP internationally. Works such as Lupin and Becoming Karl Lagerfeld, to name only two, testify to the breadth and impact of her work, which is recognized and praised by all,” commented Herszberg.

“In addition to her professional accomplishments, Isabelle is passionate, attentive, and approachable, making her a true source of inspiration and a role model for our industry which is why she was the perfect choice for this year’s ‘Woman in Series Award’,” added Francesco Capurro, Director of Series Mania Forum.

Isabelle Degeorges is a French producer known for creating compelling, internationally successful series. She produced the global Netflix hit Lupin (17×52’) starring Omar Sy and Becoming Karl Lagerfeld (6×52’) with Daniel Brühl for Disney+.

As Vice President of USPA, France’s leading guild for audiovisual producers, she plays a key role in shaping the industry’s future.
